- Corruption: This is probably one of the most important factors which hinder the development of the country since this has a strong impact on the government. What's more, I'm afraid corruption starts from the top, to be precise leaders of this country and everyone else. I must say, even me makes corruption, although not as strong as those elites. So, if Cambodia is ever to be developed, this must be reduced to a minimum rate immediately.

Chicken or the Egg?
This is a controversial topic that has brought many scientists headache because they couldn’t find a reasonable explanation as to which one of them came first, the chicken….or the egg? This matter was first brought up as early as 46 A.D., a long time ago. If you think about it, a chicken needed to hatch from an egg, but an egg needed to be laid by a chicken as well. It’s just like an endless circle of happenings.

Harry Potter 2 in Khmer to be Released
After a first success of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone translated in Khmer, Bernie Krisher recently moved on to the next step. He made another request to the world-renowned novels' author, J.K. Rowling, in order to allow the the translation of the second book to be published for the sake of Khmer kids. Generously, the author did agree to the request. Now that the permission is confirmed, the publication of the second book of Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Chamber Secrets, is going to be published in no time, even though the certain publication date is unknown.

Why do we yawn?
Have you ever wondered what makes you yawn everyday? And why do we yawn just because we see someone else does. Overall, what is the meaning of yawning, and how does it happen?
Surprisingly, to scientists, this is still a mystery. However, scientists claim that yawning is not because of boredom. There are some hypothesis made by various scientists. Some say that we yawn because our body needs oxygen. That explains the fact why we open our mouth widely so that the lung can get more oxygen, which leads to the increasing rate of heartbeat, creating more oxygen in the bloodstream. Yet again, this theory is skeptical since we do not usually yawn when we're doing exercise, for exercising needs lots of oxygen as well.
Therefore, the answer is yet to be found. What does only one simple word can make it so complicated for scientists? Let's share what you think. I hope WE can find the answer!

Chinese Pascal's Triangle
There is a renowned Pascal's Triangle which makes up the formula (a+b)^n. However, 300 years before Pascal found it, there was already a discoverer of this system, the Chinese. Unfortunately, this discovery was ignored until Pascal found it and the credit was gotten by Pascal instead, as resulted in the system name. The Chinese Pascal's Triangle is known as Yanghui Triangle. Here's the picture showing the two English and Chinese versions of the Pascal's Triangle:
How To Achieve All Your Goals And Multiply Your Success
Use Your Imagination. One of the most timeless laws of
success holds that all things are created twice: first on
the picture screen of one's imagination and then in reality.
Those people that create rich, fulfilling lives regularly
flex their imaginations and visualize a better future. By
constantly holding that vision in their mind's eye and
taking action to make it a reality, they overcome their
circumstances and create the life of their dreams.
Create a 'Success Mastermind'. Just as five fingers can
achieve more than one, getting together with a group of like
minded achievers and pooling your knowledge and success
strategies will bring you to your goals much faster.
Set a time every week and meet with your success mastermind
Share your goals and dreams. Share your frustrations as well
as techniques that have worked for you. Support each other.
Encourage each other. Celebrate even the smallest of
successes as you advance confidently towards a better life.
Love Failure. Failure is the highway to success. Every
successful person has faced endless failures and encountered
adversity. However, rather than giving up and moving on to
another easier pursuit, they persisted. They believed in
themselves and in the importance of what they were doing.
They had the wisdom to know that failure is an essential
teacher. From failure, we grow wise. Failure teaches us how
to win. Without failure, there would be no success.
Get a Coach. The Law of Duplication says that if you do the
same things that someone else did, in the same way that they
did them, you are certain to get the same results in your
life. Whether you are trying to build a great business or
grow a great family, get a mentor.
Find someone who has 'been there, done that.' Why reinvent
the wheel? Use your mentors' own experiences to shorten your
learning curve. Learn from their mistakes and let their
pasts serve you.
Mentors need not be alive. Becoming a serious student of
great people who have lived before us by reading their
biographies and analyzing their personal habits will work
just as well as any association with a living achiever.
Play the Numbers. Success is a numbers game. Smart
salespeople will tell you that the average sale is closed on
the fifth try and yet most people give up after the first.
Similarly, the more times you try to succeed, the closer you
get to success.
The more times you ask for something, the greater the
probability that you will get it. Take more chances, seize
more opportunities and take more action. Just as the farmer
who plants more seeds reaps a richer harvest, you will
attract much more success into your own life.
Work Hard. Successful people will tell you that the harder
they work, the luckier they get. In this age of the quick
fix, where people buy creams to slim their thighs and pop
pills to lose weight, one timeless truth remains, hard work
always produces its just rewards.
No undertaking can ever be successful without patience and
hard work. Have the character strength to put in the effort
required to reach your dreams. Remember, the harder you are
on yourself, the easier life will be on you.
Have Written Goals. Goals that are not written down are
impotent. By writing out your goals, they become embedded
on your subconscious mind and crystallized in your
consciousness.
Write out your goals on 3X5 cards and post them next to you
bed, on your bathroom mirror, on the dashboard in your car
and next to your computer at the office. Never lose sight of
your goals. Never let the busyness of the everyday allow you
to forget about your life goals. By thinking about them
constantly and acting on them daily, you will steadily
create the brilliant life you know in your heart you
deserve.
Master Your Moods. Just as you are not your thoughts, you
are not your moods. Effective people don't let their moods
get in the way of their progress. If they feel tired, they
keep on working. If they feel disappointed, they laugh it
off and keep chasing the dream. If they grow fearful, they
act on their fear. By overcoming their moods, they liberate
their inner power and grow stronger by the day.
The First and Second World War
Many wars have occurred since the beginning of humanity. Each of them always brought endless pain and sorrow to everybody living in between and proclaimed a lot of people’s lives. However, the most tragic and greatest wars of all time are the First and Second World War.
First of all, I would like to describe about World War I. How come there was World War I? The main cause that provoked the First World War was due to the conflict between new powerful countries and old powerful countries over the economic markets. The war occurred right after the death of the Hungarian royal heir in Sarajevo on 28th June 1914. There were two groups divided in this fierce war. The first one was called the Allied Powers, which included United Kingdom, France and Russia. Besides, the other group was named as the Central Powers, including the United States, Germany and Japan. The war went on and on for four years. There were lots of deaths, and this war brought Europe an enormous disaster. Homes, factories, school and other buildings were almost completely destroyed. About ten millions of soldiers were killed in this war, not including the amount of dead civilians. In 1918, in order to end this war, representatives from each country gathered together and made up the Peace Conference. This meeting was held in Paris, and there were 32 countries participated. They decided to sign on the Peace Treaty, and then the war was over.
Nevertheless, on 2nd September 1939 the Germany, under the governing of Adolf Hitler, announced a second war, known as World War II. Hitler’s ambition was to rule the entire world. Other countries that didn’t prepare for the war were attacked and defeated in the meantime by Germany. Germany went on to combat with other countries remained. Soon, the United States decided to cooperate with United Kingdom and Soviet Union so as to defeat Germany. After six years of ruthless war, the German army became weaker and weaker, and so did its partner, Japan. In 1945, the Germany and Japan were defeated completely. Meanwhile, it was also the same year the United Nation was born, on 24th of October. In this World War II, there were even more great losses than the previous one, due to advanced technology and modern weapons. Several cities were absolutely ruined and deserted…like ghost cities. Over 55 million people lost their lives!
As a result, the First World War (1914-1918) and the Second World War (1939-1945) cost many people’s lives. Therefore, WAR can only bring tears to us. Only PEACE can bring the world a bright future. Only PEACE makes the whole world a beautiful place to live in.
